Module 2 – Governance, Risk & Compliance

This module equips students with a practical understanding of CASS governance frameworks. It translates complex regulatory expectations into clear, actionable steps that can be applied to strengthen compliance frameworks, demonstrate effective oversight to the regulator and auditors, and protect client money and assets from operational, regulatory and conduct risk.

Module 3 – Case Studies

Analyse real FCA enforcement cases — Aviva Investors and CACEIS — to understand failures across risk, compliance and governance, and apply the lessons to real-world regulatory practice. The case-study pack and worksheet are attached to the lesson below as downloads.

Module 4 – Student Presentations

Students present their analysis of the Module 3 case studies to our experts and receive direct feedback. Watch the briefing below for how the presentations work; sessions are arranged with the Fide team as part of the programme.
